Manocon Bunker With Generator

Precast Bunker With Generator Room

The bunker with a generator room was developed for a site where a generator must be on site permanently with protection.  The first room is for the communication equipment and the second room for the housing and protection of the generator.  Each room has a separate concrete and steel door with a Bluetooth lock that only allows access to that specific room. This will enable the control room to give access to only one of the rooms as required while the other room stay locked.  To get access to the bunker, the person at the bunker must contact the control room and request an access code.  When the control room is satisfied that the person may enter,  they will in turn send back an access code to that person’s phone.  This code must then be entered into the Bluelock App (That can be downloaded from Playstore on any cell phone) which will open the door lock.  The access code will only be active for the time as requested from the control room.  The control room will receive confirmation from the Bluetooth lock when the door is closed and locked on completion.  When maintenance must be done to the generator or the diesel tank of the generator must be filled, the control room can give access to the generator room only while the equipment room stay locked.  When access is needed to the equipment room, the generator room can stay locked.  The dimensions of the door to the generator room is 1,4m wide x 2,24m high to allow installation of a generator.  The door opening to the equipment room is 1,1m wide x 2,24m high.  The generator room have galvanised steel louvres for ventilation as per the clients requirements.  The equipment room have a passive ventilation system installed for temperature control.
