Over the last couple of years the crime rate in Africa as well as South Africa increased dramatically. The telecommunication industry was not spared. Vandalism and theft of equipment at the installations resulted in losses of millions of Rands.
As a result of the ongoing problem, the need for a more secure and safe enclosure for the telecommunications industry lead to the development and certification of the Manocon Precast Concrete bunker.
The development and manufacturing of the 3m x 3m prototype bunker started in 2016. The first unit was erected for MTN in Thokasa township just east of Johannesburg shortly after the application for patent rights were filed at the patent offices. Since then several other Manocon Precast Bunkers in different variations as per specific client needs were erected.
